I like to use the bookmarks toolbar in my browser. The problem I have observed is that the favicon image will occasionally have a red dot stuck in the upper left corner of the favicon.
The solution is to not use the XenForo default "Count in title and indicator on icon", but to use the "Count in title" option instead.
