1) Install UltraEdit
- Run ue_english_64.exe for 64 bit system or ue_english.exe for 32
- Do not start the application after installation
2) Block internet connection to UltraEdit server
- Launch Windows firewall control panelpress win+r, type wf.msc, press Enter
- Click 'Outbond rules'
- Click 'New rule'
- Select 'Custom', click next
- Select 'All programs', click next
- Select 'Any' for Protocol type, click next
- Select 'Any' for Protocol type, click next
- Add 'remote IP address': 66.150.98.71, click next
- Select 'Block the connection', click next, next
- Set any name you like, click Finish and close firewall control panel
3) Activate
- Run UltraEdit, click Support -> Enter license key
- Enter anything in 'License ID' and 'Password', remember this data
- Click Activate, wait for 'Connection error' window, click 'Offline activation'
- Launch keygen.exe
- Enter 'License ID' and 'Password' from previous step
- Copy 'User Code 1' and 'User Code 2' from activation window to keygen
- Click generate in keygen window
- Copy 'Authorization Code 1' and 'Authorization Code 2' to activation window
- Click 'Activate' in activation window, see 'Registration/Activation successfull.' message
