This is a TV transmitter for transmitting video of various video sources such as video cameras, Satellite receivers, DVD players, game consoles, etc. TV transmitter's circuit is working on the 470-580 MHz frequency and can be received on UHF channels 21-34. TV Video transmitter can radiate as far as 300 meters by using a 10-20 cm wire antenna. TV transmitter requires voltage of 9-15 Volts. However, you can also use a 9v batteries. Oscillator is based around BF199 and BFR90 RF transistors. If needed the range of TV transmitter can be extended by replacing BFR90 with 2N3886 transistors.

TV Video Transmitter Details

This is an important thing to remember for building of the TV transmitter circuit is that the dimensions of coil size to match the frequency of the desired work.

The value of the spindle is making coil as follows:
L1, L2 = 3 Turns, diam. 3mm, 0.5mm wire
L3 = 2 Turns, diam. 3 mm, 0.5 mm wire

Here's a simple schematic of a TV transmitter circuit or video transmitter circuit which is able to broadcast on VHF between 60 to 200 MHz. The input video can be from any CCD camera and VCR. The output power of this VHF transmitter circuit is 80mW and by using telescopic antenna this
circuit will transmit at a distance of 100 meter.
The circuit is using only one transistor that can be a BC337, 2N2222, BC546 or BC108. For L1 wound 6 turns of #24 enameled wire on a 10mm air former for frequency 60 - 80 MHz.
For 150 - 180 MHz wound 4 turns and for 180 - 200MHz wound 2 turns.
If you want to transmit sound then make a FM transmitter and tune it on audio channel.

This circuit is for educational purpose only
