How to upgrade firmware of Samsung SMART TV through USB Drive ?

STEP 1. DOWNLOADING FIRMWARE FROM WEBSITE


The firmware updates are required to enhance the efficiency and use of the Smart TV's as it adds variety of features and options to the TV.

a). On your computer log on to Samsung Download Website and scroll down to select theType / Subtype & Model no. of your Samsung TV and click the button Manuals & Downloads at the bottom.

b). Click on Manuals & Downloads, it will take us to the Download page, locate Firmwarefrom the options on the left hand side and click it.

c). On the firmware download page, choose the latest release date and click on the file symbol

, and it will start the download of the upgrade file. Choose the location where you would like to save the file on your computer.

d). Once the files are saved , extract the zip file to a separate folder and then copy the extracted folder to the USB Drive.( Do not copy the compressed file, as the TV might not be able to recognize the format)

e). Once you have completed copying the files to the USB drive, connect the USB drive to the USB jack in the TV. Make sure that the TV is switched off when you connect the USB drive and then Power On.

Samsung LED TV Güncelleme

Aslında sadece LED TV’leri değil güncellenebilen tüm samsungları buradan güncelleyebilirisiniz. Aşağıda güncelleme nasıl yapılacağını anlatacağım:

Ben de biraz önce güncellemeyi başardım. Görüntüde bir güzelleşme oldu gibi ama emin değilim. Birkaç güne ancak anlarım herhalde.
Güncellemek isteyenler için: Samsung UE40D5000 için(diğer modelleri de buradan güncelleyebilirsiniz ama firmware kısmından):

Soldaki Firmware kısmına tıklayın önce. İlk linki download edin. exe yazan dosyayı indirin. İlkini indirin ama… Masaüstüne atın ve iki kez tıklayıp açın. Zipten çıkartır gibi dosyaları çıkartacak. Bu önemli yoksa güncellemiyor. Sonra bir USB flash diske atın ve TV’nize takın sonra menü>ayarlar>?>yazılım yükseltme tıklayın ve ilk sırada çevrim içi yazıyor. Aslında çevrim dışı yazması lazım. ona tıklayın ve usbden bulacaktır sonra ok diyorsunuz ve güncelleniyor…

Updating firmware on your Samsung device:

1. Visit Manuals & Downloads | SUPPORT | SAMSUNG UK
2. Enter the details of your device and model
3. Under the Downloads tab, click on the Firmware link and find the latest firmware version for your device
4. Download the firmware to a USB drive (memory stick)
5. Plug the USB drive in to the USB port on either the back or the side panel of the TV
6. The TV should detect the USB and a pop-up menu will appear. Select Software Upgrade from the menu (If the pop-up does not appear then select By USB in the Software Upgrade sub-menu)
7. This will perform a scan of all USB devices and detect if there is a valid software file available on the flash disk
8. Follow the onscreen instructions to automatically upgrade the firmware from the USB drive
